which is better ? i mean BANG FOR THE BUCKS
for booting and loading fast application

use scsi harddrive 74gb 10k rpm
or
use the raptop sata 74gb 10k rpm
or
use ordinary sata and put on raid 0 (stripping)

whats the best for the same amount of money?
any suggestion ?

The SCSI 10K might barely edge out the raptor, however if you want storage and/or scalability, raptors are not a viable solution. I'd go SATA raptor, the extra bang for scsi's bucks is only bragging rights. SAS FTW

SCSI would only bee good for multi user environment, this is where they shine

a raptor has seek time advantage

a raid 0 array has better speed for things like large file transfers, but slower seek / random seek times a single raptor would have.
