Computer does not recognize Raptor HD

I have a 74gb Raptor. I recently had to reinstall windows. I reinstalled windows on my other hd which is just a stock hd. I now want to install windows on my raptor HD but my computer is not recognizing the HD when i put the windows cd and try to install the 3rd party drive. how can i get my computer to recognize it. i tried everything. any help is appreciated. thanks.

the other drive is IDE? If so, it's not the drive, it's the interface.

You'll probably have to have the SATA drivers on a floppy and do the F6 thing to install the drivers during text setup.
