How do i fix this problem? I run a virus check and it says there is no virus.

which version of windows?? If it is a 9x system, turn off active desktop.....

Did you change your refresh rate to something odd, that maybe your monitor is not liking? Do you have the latest video card and monitor drivers? I see a lot of people say monitor drivers aren't needed, but I've had several issues over the years that have been fixed by using new/updated/proper monitor drivers.

well i also noticed it wont let me get into my computer now......if a virus any one reccomend a program besides norton?

AVG, Housecall online scan, AntiVir, Avast, etc etc etc....all of which are free.
