Ok, so last night I installed the UT3 demo (w00t!!! :D), well in doing that it installed .NET Framework 2.0 (Booooooo..). Ever since then, my PC has slowed down a bit, not much but enough to notice, mostly internet related. Also, when ever I play an online game, idel ventrilo/xfire, or just surf the net I can't keep a solid connection to the internet. So, should I download .NET Framework 3.0 or just get rid of it all to gather?
Thanks in advance!

All major version of the framework can exist on the same machine -- so upgrading to 3.0 from 2.0 will not fix anything if it's related to v2.0.
Make sure you patch .net framework 2.0. I'm pretty sure it has updates available.

There's a good chance .Net Framework isn't the cause of the slowdowns. Would it be possible to open Task Manager when you are anticipating slow downs, or keeping it open so when your connection drops, you can see what's going on?

Well in any event, can some one provide a link to patch it to 3.0?

It's in Windows Update, under the recommended updates section.

And as someone already said, it doesn't patch it to 3.0. Instead you will have separate versions of 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0.
