View Full Version : RUNDLL error in XP I'm confused, how to fix?
When this computer is restarted I get a
Error Loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\iwqqbck.dll
The specified module could not be found.
I dunno what my Dad did to his system. lol I'm missing my Vista rig right now I did a search on google I dunno how to get rid of this dumb thing.

I used three different search engines and could find no reference to a iwqqbck.dll . That's a little odd.
Just sounds like you have a startup task trying to load that DLL, but you need to track down what this DLL is, hopefully its not spyware and a virus.

Disable System Restore, download and update SUPERAntispyware and reboot your computer into safe mode (tap F8 on boot), once there, run superantispyware and perform a full scan, also scan with your antivirus of choice :D
ran the antivirus and ad-aware got rid of a trojan and some other minor virus. But they are taken care of but still got this dumb dll thing. Why do I want to restore his System Restore,

Because its a security risk to have it enabled, many virus store themself in system restore protected folders, antivirus wont be able to clean it.

Sounds like the leftover of some spyware that was removed. You should run Hijack This to remove the reference.
