I cant get it to change to 500hz from the default 125hz no matter what i do it seems. I have tried the 2 different progs that are available to change it (usbmrs11.exe and xp-usb-patcher.exe), both say they work successfully but the usb reader programs that come with them say my mouse is still at 125hz after rebooting.
Im running winxp sp2, logitech mx400 usb laser mouse. I have also tried the above using default windows mouse drivers AND the logitech drivers, got same results both times. Anyone had this problem?
