Vista Memory Problem

I get a BSOD every now and then in Vista Ultimate x64. It says I have a memory problem. When I run the memory checker, it too says I have a problem and it tells me to "contact my computer manufacturer". What do I need to do?

Have you tried 1 stick at a time to see if both are going south?
I see you're OC'n. Try upping the voltage a bit?
I'm running a Dominator Airflow Fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835704001) on mine since they run hot at 2.0v.

They are running at 2.1v (though, the bad axe is know to use less than it is set to). My memory runs fine in my XP pro dual boot. I never did a mem check in XP (I don't know how) but I have never had a random restart in XP.

It's the DRM bit-checks crashing your Vista.. :D

Write down the error code and search for it (and post it here too). BSOD's are hard to track down when you don't pay attention to what they say. ;)

Well, I set the memory to stock and I have had zero problems. I still think my bad axe is messing up and lying about the mem voltage. I can't wait until I get an x38 :D

The DRM related overclocking problems were well anticipated with the launch of Vista. Your system will crash to the slightest read error due to the bit checks.
