Vista time is messed up

So why would this be happening I keep gaining or losing an hour sometimes even two hours I just saw I was off by 20minutes. What would be causing this?

set the time in BIOS correctly, and in windows if you open the clock properties you can select to syncronize it to microsoft.com, try that.

The only time I've seen that happen was right after I spilled a full beer in my case (side panel was off).... I dried everything out.. or so I thought... and it booted up and ran fine... but the clock was going ape shit.... turns out I forgot to pull the CMOS battery and it was a little wet in the socket... Dried that up and all was well..... and surprisingly that machine still runs fine to this day....

Maybe try a new battery??

Yeah, the RTC is powered by the coin cell. If it's low you could be getting bad time when the computer is off.
