ok, last night my laptop was fine, shut it off, go to bed.
wake up and turn it on and I get a black screen saying windows couldn't open, then the option to start in safe mode. So I choose that and then the xp loading screen comes up but then goes to a blue screen that says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME.

I've googled the problem but all the fixes either you have to have the xp cd, or floppies to boot the comp. Well it's a laptop without a floppy drive and I don't have the xp cd so what are my options?
