I am getting an external e-sata enclosure and am going to hook up an external hard drive to my Scientific Atlanta (SD) DVR for added recording space. From what I gather the drive must be sata I or it will not work. I have a new 320mb Maxtor (7200.10) just hanging around and looking briefly on the web I couldn't find anything to force it into sata I mode. Does anyone know how to do this for this drive, or if it's even possible? Thanks
