I have uninstalled Daemon tools and I have a virtual drive that will not go away. I think I might have installed the demo for alcohol 120% also at one time. I have tried re-installing Daemon tools and dismounting all drives but that did nothing. At any rate I don't have any virtual drive software installed on my computer now and I can't get rid of the the virtual cd drive. I am running Vista pro and I think this drive may be causing me some problems with explorer needing to be restarted on a regular basis. Anybody have any ideas?

right click my computer and go to manage=>device manager and see if you can find the drive and uninstall it there

I've gone into device manager and it does not show this drive. The virtual drive only shows up under my computer.

Windows has built-in commands for creating and deleting virtual drives. To delete a virtual drive try this:
click the 'Start button'
click 'Run'
type: SUBST W: /d (where "W" is the letter of the virtual drive you want to delete)
To make sure windows doesn't reload the virtual drive after rebooting go to the startup items and delete that entry - msconfig.exe can only disable that registry key, if you want to delete the entry permanently use another program that can delete startup item registry keys like CCleaner or Glary Utilities or NirSoft StartupRun
Then reboot your computer
