Is my drive bad?

I put together my first built around the end of July, and I used a Barracuda (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148230) as my drive. I've noticed that sometimes when I leave it idle or I'm not doing much on the computer that its kind of making a clicking noise. It almost sounds like a clock. I'm wondering if this is a sign that I have a bad drive and its on its way out or I'm just being a little too paranoid.

I can't give a definite answer but I have a 200GB Seagate drive that has done that since I got it 3 years ago. I have had no problems with the drive though so I think it must be somewhat normal. It worried me when I first noticed it too but so far it doesn't seem to be causing any problems.

Well that's good to hear. I forgot to mention that I ran the program HD Tune the other night and it passed the error scan. So is this something that anyone else has noticed with their barracudas?
