Just got my HDD and enclosure.. formatting question

I just got an antec MX-1 enclosure with a 500GB barracuda..

anyway.. what should i format this thing to?

Primary partition.. or extended? i want to use this thing on multiple computers..

Primary. The other options are meant for internal drives where you have more than one. The external drives will always be seen as one primary drive on it's own "controller."
