So I decided to OC my cpu its an e6 san diego core with a stock cooler and to increase my speed I kept my ram at ddr400 using a 5:6 divider (I have value ram) set my bus speed to 240, ht link to 5x, multiplier to 10x is this the proper way to OC this chip its currently running prime95 stable at 2.410

if it's stable, then good. the thing that I see that concerns me is your HT link is set to 5X, and bus to 240. 5x240=1200, while this is not terribly high, you'd want to keep it under 1000 for stability's sake. HT also has a very small impact on performance (neglible at best), so stability is better than speed on that one. I'd drop it down to 4x and see if that gets your FSB higher.
