Okay, this may sound like a n00b question or whatever, but here goes.
I'm not exactly an audiophile, but I would like to have a sound card in my rig. I went ahead and bought a Creative Audigy SE.. I've been told that it's crap but it sounds great to me. My only problem is that even with its low profile it's blocking the airflow to the fins on the heatsink of my video card. It keeps artifacting and I think its because of the airflow.
I bought a slot cooler but it's too cramped in there to help. I have some empty PCI-e slots that I would rather use, is there an audio solution that will work in PCI-e???

If the temps arn't too high on your graphics card, I'd say to not worry about it.

If you really want a pci-e card, creative seems to be selling one now as a number of online merchants have it for sale. But it's one of the lower end X-Fi cards.
