Whats the deal with the filesystem from my Treo 680?

When I insert the SD card into the slot in my friends Gateway laptop, it says that the disk is not formatted. Okay so I check it out and it says that its currently RAW. The thing is that it was working before when I used one of those $10 SD to USB adapters from CompUSA, I just have since lost it and was looking for a way to copy my pictures, not format over it like the Windows wants me to do.

Whats up? (or is there a better place for this thread to be? and I'm too lazy to sign up for treonauts since I figure you guys might know anyhow)

You might investigate recovery products like GetDataBack (http://runtime.org/gdb.htm), or find the USB thing and try running the card in it again. It could be accessing it in such a way that it fails on other machines.

That happened to me when i got my Treo 650 (used) and a 1gig sd card. Card worked fine with the treo but computers couldnt read it.

I just went out and got a new 2gig and it works fine
