I really haven't been able to dig up much info on the Synology 407 and 407e. They are in the same price range as the Infrants etc but offer more features. The "download" station with bittorent support is of most intrest to me.
Anyone have any info on quality? SAMBA read speads of 33~40MB seems fairly good over gigabit and more then enough to server my AppleTV.
In short i'm looking for a multi-drive NAS to serve my AppleTV. It can do NFS/SAMBA or ADP remote mounts. I currently plan on plugging this directly into the router with my AppleTV served wireless.
Any other suggestions?
