View Full Version : New SATA drive problem, always a "safely remove hardware" icon in panel

There's always a Safely Remove Hardware icon in the windows system tray(the little panel on the far right of the taskbar, with the clock and date in it) much like an icon for a USB drive, only it's for my harddrive. Is this normal for SATA drives? I'm afraid that if I acciditally click on it and click "Remove hardware" my drive would lose all its data.
