So i have VPC2k7 on my Vista x64 install. It recognizes the Network Card in both the VPC options and in Win2K. It just can't get an IP at all...

Mind you last time i used VPC was on a 1st gen Mac mini and it worked fine with an XP install. But obviously, this is newer hardware.

My hardware:
E6300
MSI P6N-SLI (nForce 650i SLI)
Using the nForce Gigabit NIC on the mobo

Maybe in my better days I could remember how to troubleshoot this shit, but I'm at a loss right now. As you can see in the screens below, it recognizes the controller and is using an Intel driver...it sends packets and cannot receive them. I've tried ipconfig /release and /renew but got nothing. Whats next? lol And obviously it works otherwise I wouldn't be able to post this...

nevermind...i figured it out. soon as i clicked "Shared Networking (NAT)" in the options, it opened up. guess i'll leave this open for anyone who runs across an issue with it.
