Virtual console SMB saves.

so I bought super Mario bro's on the wii virtual console and its great. but can you save? I cant find out how to save a game. I still have the original NES and game, but don't remember if you could save or not.

from what i recall there is no saving

If you hit the Wii Menu button and quit out of a Virtual Console game, when you go back you'll be at the same spot you left. It's like a quicksave I guess...but it disappears after you use it so don't forget to do it again next time.

Also if you hold "A" at the start screen when you press "start" it will start you at the world you were last at...
