Okay, I just bit the bullet and installed the 64bit version of ultimate on my main boxen. I don't do much gaming anymore other than the occasional Steam session (HL2, etc). Are there any gotcha's or undocumented "features" I should be looking out for? All the tips I've read through have been useful, but its hard to tell what applies specifically to the 64bit version.

So far, other than not having drivers for my little Dymo labelmaker (and they'll release those in another week) things are looking really nice.

Yeah, I've gotta update my sig... The specs on this boxs are:

E4300 / Gigabyte 965P-DS3 / 2 gigs Corsair DDR2 6400 / 7600GT 256 / SB Audigy 2ZS / 200gig Seagate SATA / LG DVD MultiDrive

I've been running 64-bit Vista for a while and besides having to get 64-bit drivers, I haven't had any other issues.

I've found that for things with faulty/missing Vista drivers, the drivers for 64-bit XP work quite well.
