Hi, I've got Vista 32 on an Intel 975XBX2 and need to reinstall because I goofed on the original install and got the System Partition stranded on a D drive somehow:
Drive 0 & 1: Primary RAID 1 Array with Boot, OS, Programs
Drive 2: System Partion wrongly got put on this drive (now can't use this for backup)

So should I disable the array using the Intel Matrix Manager, attempt to reformat Drive 1, and then place only the cleaned drive back in the pc when I go to reinstall? I just don't know how picky Vista will be later if I ask to reformat the drives that previously had either the System Partition, or half an array if Vista sees System or Boot files on the drive. I am planning to rebuild with just one C drive in RAID Ready AHCI mode and then add the drives back in after Vista is reinstalled. Intel Matrix Manager will build the array later.

Any suggestions on how to best go about this? Do I need to get the disk clean before attempting the reinstall, or just throw the install CD in the drive and let it do its thing?
