I bought and installed a new 400GB Seagate 7200.10 HD a little over a week ago. Right after I bought it, I downloaded a program called Hard Drive Inspector Pro edition from the Giveaway of the Day site. I ran it before installing the new HD, and my old HD (WD 250GB) shows 100% across the board.
I ran it again after installing the new HD, it showed the new Seagate to be 98% Reliability and 100% everything else. The next day I ran it an it showed 34% for everything. :eek: It is slowly coming up, first it was 36%, now it's up to 39%.

I downloaded the bootable version of Seatools and ran all diagnostics and the drive passed. I also downloaded the UBCD and ran some diagnostic tools from it, and it passed those. Now I'm questioning if it's the drive or that HD Inspector program that's messed up.
