I see that AVAdirect is quite highly regarded here at the [H] however....I see they don't have on-site warranty which is something I'm pretty used to. So I ask, how is their service on sending parts back and forth. And if it comes to it, hows the sending the system in and out work like? Such as returning the system for them to check out in person and sending back, do I have to pay for any of it? Could someone please explain :rolleyes:

I don't believe they offer an on-site warranty. If service needs to be done on your system that you can't do yourself, they'll have you ship your system in. You will NOT pay for that. They will pay for all replacement parts and shipping costs. Basically, they send you a shipping lablel, you stick it on the box, and call UPS.

They are usually very, very quick about sending parts. I think they've even overnighted some stuff to us at one point.

awesome! Thanks for the advice, it's nice to know it's a pretty painless process ^_^. Glad to see your comment, the question is now....when to buy :( such a difficult question
