I just got that 2GB kit of OCZ 1066Mhz Sli-Ready, EPP, SPD, from Fry's.com and it does not seem to work on my motherboard. I plugged it in in dual channel and my screen doesn't even turn on (Yes, I pushed the "On" button :) ) I see on my motherboard it says "C1" so I look up what it means, and it means it is checking for memory. It posts wthis and 6F (Looking for floppy...? I don't have one...) I tried everyslot, and both sticks in every combo, but nothing shows on the screen, lights and everything in the computer sound like they work fine, but nothing on the creen shows up.. Just says "no input" (THIS IS NOT A VID. CARD ISSUE!)

I have used OCZ GOLD GX XTC 1066Mhz memory before (Damn ocz needs to fix their naming scheme...) and it has the same scpecs, but isn't epp and sli-ready. I know the AW9D-Max is a crossfire-ready motherboard, but does that mean I cannot use "Sli-Ready" OCZ memory?!?! I didn't think it did... WTH??? HELP!

-JUST IN!-
Hmmm... The meory worked just fine in a computer with an identical processor and an i945G motherboard... Then I tryed a stick of kingston DDR2-533 valueram, and it worked fine in my system and my computer booted...

Does my motherboard not support EPP or SPD? Is this why it does not work?

like i said, try them in another computer. I also have crossfire mobo, and tried 3 pairs of this stuff, all worked fine up to rated speed, but I do have troubles oc'ing it :( I think your memory is DOA, try replacing them with another one.

Did you read my post??? I have an Abit AW9D-Max motherboard. The best 975 chipset IMO.
