Ok, here is the problem. I set up my SATA RAID for striping on my Crosshair MOBO, and when i get to the XP install, i F6 and load the drivers. Then, when selecting the RAID to install XP on, i create the partition, but it wont give me the option for formating. When i go to install it there, it says that it is not a valid partition to install on, and to go back and choose a valid partition. Anyone have any ideas? I dont want to run on IDE. Also, when i tried to install on one of the SATA drives, when not in RAID, I get errors there to, saying that an unexpected error has occured. Some one please help.

Before anyone helps you, please destroy your keyboard's CAPS lock functionality, first ensuring that it's turned off.
And while you're at it, consider destroying your SHIFT key functionality just for good mesaure.
I suggest a hammer.

Maybe try formatting the partition with a bootable utility like GParted or Acronis?

Yes, either will let you format to NTFS.
