My friend is interested in ocing his computer. He's got an e6400 with a Gigabyte 945P-S3 mobo. He wants a moderate overclock but wants a heatsink thats less then $40. I said probably go with the Scythe Mine, but other then that I don't know what else to suggest. What else am I missing?

It's back down in price now I see, however it's still about $40. Just wanted to know if there was some low priced gem out there. I guess not.

I would recommend TT Blue Orb II. It's really cheap and doing a good job. Go check some reviews on the net.

I used to have one and loved the pure aesthetics of it. I seem to get lower temps with the ninja compared to the blue orb however.

yeah i could vouch for the blue orb 2. i have the golden orb 2 and it cools like a dream. (2500 mhz 27c idle) i like the orb series and the ones ive had do a good job of cooling.
