I have a 250gb hard drive (unformatted) and I'm about to Install VISTA Home Premium.
However i want to make 2 partitions of 125 each i.e C and D and install VISTA on one
and leave the other blank for my data.

Does VISTA give u the option of making 2 or more partitions before installing
OR does it just install on the whole drive?

Thanks!

You'll have the option of creating both, same as previous versions of Windows. However, I've always preferred to set up the primary drive/partition during the install, and then use the MMC afterwards to set up my data drive. This way, I can easily arrange the letters the way I want them. For example, I can set the data drive as D:\ and move my optical drive o E:\.
