I am running Vista RC2 5744 ..and I was trying to do a windows update and I noticed that it no longer comes up (another problem that I am having) ..and so went to get into control panel and just noticed that it's not launching either ..any suggestions how to fix?
I have run spyware/virus scans and havent found anything using spybot, adaware, and avast .. I immunize with spybot and run spywareblaster as well , everything updated and all that .. I run behind an Endian firewall homebuilt appliance with Dansguardian that blocks ads , phishing, porn ..etc type sites
the only thing is that my sister and her husband use limewire .. their account is a limited account ..but I guess something could have got me through them ..
I have run a couple different rootkit programs to check for those as well
is Microsoft beginning to cripple any none RTM builds of Vista before the June cut off date?
