Ok so I got vista recently and I have been using it on both of my computers. My main gaming machine it works great and looks great. On my other machine it is kind of slow. Right now it has a 848P chipset board in it. What I want to do is buy a core 2 duo board or something so I can get a little bit more speed. Right now its got a 2.4ghz P4 in it. It also has a geforce 4 video card in it (AGP). So would upgrading the video card help in Vista at all, or should I just upgrade the CPU and motherboard.

Also I was wondering if I will have to buy another copy of Vista if I upgrade, or can I just call in like I used to do with XP and they re activate it for me over the phone?
