Any one know of a dvd program that will remove those black bars while waching wide screen movies

Media Player Classic can zoom in that way, although I generally don't use that function.

Zoom is the only way to "remove" the bars. They are built into the movie because of the original aspect ratio.

Buy crappy full-screen versions instead, or a widescreen display.

With a widescreen display they are still going to be there.

If you are ignorant enough to hate the "annoying black bars" then buy fullscreen DVD's. They are made for people like you.

I was hoping that this was just one of those spam-joke posts, where the OP couldn't be serious. Apparently, the joke is on me.

I agree with the above advice. If you don't want to watch the movie as it was nitended to be viewed, go buy the full screen versions.
