Coolest and most quiet drive over 300gb?

Need the coolest and most quiet drive over 300gb for external sata.

I have the 320gb seagate 7200.10 for internal computer and it's kinda loud.

WD500AAKS or WD500KS. I think the AAKS is a little bit quieter, but not much.

No, it will not. I think the 500GB is actually cooler than the 320GB, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I thought it was the other way around. I have a 320gb seagate 7200.10 and a samsung 500gig - the seagate runs much cooler than the samsung.

Those disks are made by different manufacturers, so comparing them doesn't tell you much about what two disks coming from the same manufacturer will be like.
