hey guys ive found this forum like last week and have been reading a lot of threads on here and theyre interesting.... i was lookin at overclockin since you can increase speed and not pay for a new proccesor.. i have a prebuilt compaq presario..
i downloaded speed fan and looked at my temps of the cpu and everything... normal temp is 37-38 C
i have 512 mb of memory first stick is what came with pc second is pc2700....
i have read on websites that its not possible to overclock through bios since its prebuilt and that it would have to be done with software... so could u guys reccomend some software and how to do it? i just want to overclock it maybe to 2.2 or something so its still safe. um also how do i increase fan speed on the cpu with speedfan?
