External storage?

I'm thinking about getting a hard drive and SATA/USB 2.0 enclosure, but I'm not really sure what would be the best way of going about it. I'd like to keep price down while getting something reliable (Seagate or maybe a Caviar, I'm guessing?). Also, any help with picking a good SATA/USB enclosure would also be appreciated; I don't know much about them beyond how they work, and I definitely have no idea who makes good ones that would be suitable for this.

Seagate and WD both have newer drives with 3-5 warrenties would aim for one of those drives, and for enclosure not possitive on that, usually check out newegg and read the reviews on there of what customers thought of the enclousure. You'll want one with a fan and probably native sata connector i'm guessing.
