A lot of older Dells use regular ATX power supplies which you can replace with any ATX PSU *looks at sig*. I think the 4500 is one of those, you might want to ask on the Dell forums, although the company's support is bad the people there are helpful.

I'm almost positive the 4500s used propriatary PSs.
The PCP@C Units for the Dell are top notch and will be a very nice upgrade to the stock unit.
