Alot of games that use opengl don't work in Vista.
Will a version of opengl come in the future, or should you dual boot with Xp?

OpenGL support is a function of your video drivers, not the OS meaning Vista. If you can't play OpenGL games currently under Vista, it's because of your video drivers. Email the card manufacturer and complain.
The issue with OpenGL and Vista this time around (compared to all previous versions of Windows) is that if and when you do get it working, it'll be frame-rate limited to the refresh rate your monitor it as. No more 200 fps monsters roaring to life under Vista like they could under 2K/XP/2K3, unfortunately. I won't get into the whole "the eye can only see so fast" argument because that's not why higher framerates matter, but that just gets lost in the arguments to start with.
OpenGL is effectively "crippled" in these respects under Vista, so, my recommendation if you have some OpenGL games is:
Keep a dual boot situation with 2K or XP if possible just for gaming. That's the only way you're going to get the performance from OpenGL that you're used to.
