Vista Basic question?

Hello

Is any one running Vista Basic on a laptop? The reason for the question is I have a Sony SZ-110 that is just used for web surfing and email not much else, I mainly use it for travel. I have already upgraded all my home systems and my other faster laptops with vista home premium and all is well. I already have the vista basic on hand, was just worry about installing it. The sony laptop is running fine I just have this itching to install it.

I installed Home Premium on my Compaq Presario with a 1.4 celeron, 512Mb and intel graphics. :D

You should be ok.

A couple of quick points:
1. Have you run Microsoft's Vista Upgrade advisor to see if all of the hardware is supported?
2. You should also check out Sony's site to see what their support looks like for the laptop.
