Need Help Badly

PLEASE HELP ME

I downloaded xubuntu, then I went to roxio easy cd creator and selected like"create cd from image" I selected the downloaded xubuntu iso

it burnt. I went to the lappy i want to install it on and changed the cd drive to boot first, hd second. Had the cd in. Then it just goes right to windows xp. No splash creen or anything.

what am I doing wrong?

Try using this (http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm) to burn your image. And you should be able to hit esc or maybe f12 to select a boot first option.

It's probably a bad image.

You could also just disable the HD completely.

Was there perhaps an onscreen message telling you to 'Press a key to boot from CD' and you missed seeing it?

Now when I have the cd befor ehd on boot order, I gt an error. What do I do?
