Either I suck at searching or this hasn't been discussed in depth here. I've got a couple sets of slipstreamed SP2 copies hanging around (I work at a college by the way) for ease of reinstallation of the OS, the slipstream has my common drivers and KB's. I'm wondering if there is any way to integrate Office 2003 into the slipstream through something like nLite adons. I've been searching for a while but haven't found anything incredibly useful in regards to this (the last thread is a few 6 months ago and doesn't have much i it).

Well I've had some luck so I figured I'd just put this here for anybody else who searches.

I've mainly used this guide (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=71442&hl=office) on making an unattended office 2003 installation. I've yet to figure out how to integrate it into windows correctly. I'll probably have to use the runonce method, but whatever.

Forgot to add...I now have an unattended Office2003 installation executable that is 121mb...sweet

Thanks for the update Ive been following this thread hoping someone would help out. I've been looking at how to integrate programs into an XP install as well. With Office and many other helpful programs such as Firefox 2.0, Quickbooks and other office things that would make a system reset easier. Hmmm.

Hopefully we'll come up with something.

It's your lucky day then. Down load nlite if you haven't already and hit up this forum (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=132). Great resource.

By the by, I have not yet been able to successfully integrate office into a XP installation. All efforts lead to the install getting nearly done then rolling back to nothing. Can't figure it out.

Well just as a last update. I finally figured out how to use RunOnce correctly and how I finished off my installation was adding my Office2003.exe to the main directory on my CD and adding a RunOnce command of %SOURCE%Office2003.exe. So the first thing that happens when windows boots is office2003 starts its automated installation process. Now on to bigger and harder things...IE doing the same thing with Novell.
