Playing Vista games in XP?

I recently installed Vista Business on my laptop, and I have a serious Inkball addiction. Does anyone know of a way to play it under XP? If that's impossible, does anyone know of a clone or a similar game?

I tried copying over the executable and running it in XP, but it said it wasn't a valid win32 application.

I think the game is hardwired to the O/S, it wont work on XP.
