Sata pci raid card wont show hdd

(does not have the ide adapter, and has western digital sticker on it, but that driver works) and decided to give it a try. I dont want raid at all, i just want to use 2 drives seperately.
but they will not show up in windows unless i make an array. Does anyone know if its possible to get it to work without making an array?

Had one of those a couple of years ago, wish I could remember, but, they all just blend together after a while... ;)
Anyway, have you tried making two separate JBOD arrays? I know I've had to do that before on at least 1 Promise card.

kewl, i got them set up as 2 sep stripe arrays, 64k. think it would be ok like that for just file storage? comes up on boot as 2 separate 1+0 when booting.
