Not too far into videos from the likes of Youtube and Metacafe, it appears to have finished. I'm like WTF? It's not just pausing, but it actually has the banner to watch related videos. What can I do?

meta cafe is using adobe flash

well you need to do these procedures to uninstall:

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157

THEN:

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
click "Get the latest version"

then install...

Ehh it will pick a random point--usually with the first half and stop and start back to the beginign or will freeze.

Ok, I got it working again, and I know how to, but I don't know why....

I schedule an "error fix" of my hardrive which is set to automatically recover bad sectors and fix them, and I hit my reset button on the 30% done mark ont eh 4th out of 5 steps. It has been working every time as I did the same thing last time. WTF?

It seems to be fine, so now how do I do a HD test and/or a CPU test?

you can use the pcwizard to do some benchmarks on your harddrive.... you can also try to defragment your computer.. if you cant defrag some files on your harddrive maybe those sectors are getting screwed up... maybe your harddrive is slowly going out.. and cant keep up with the data the internet is sending it?

there could be alot of problems causing your video to stop in the middle of viewing it.. hardrive could be one.. memory could be one... or even the wrong setup of drviers or ecoders can be one as well....

Windows was booting--that's why I finally ran the Lifeguard tools and now I will install windows again. I ran fixmbr and that didn't help--still restarts on the boot up of windows....

After buying a new mobo, testing the crap outa ram, etc. it was obvious...

Also I am running a new installation on the other HD, and it's fine. I am RMAing the other HD and probably buying a new one for now--maybe not. I can deff wait.
