Currently I have a Win2k3 box serving as my spam gateway. When it was set up initially by the previous system administrator, he did not RAID the drives. I'd like to install a PCI Raid controller and set it up on a mirror at least. Would this require repairing the Windows installation, or should it boot up on the PCI controller initially?
If it will boot and I set it up as RAID, will the 2nd drive populate automatically or will I have to resort to reinstalling the OS anyway?
