another Wii VS PS3 VS Xbox 360

ok well, all three systems are here. I have heard several theories that involve "once the PS3 is out the masses that are saying the Wii will be the winning console will convert, and possibly buy a PS3". I mean, after all they HAVE released an econo version, stabbing all those blue tooth investors in the back, but non-the-less making a product much more for the average consumer.

This poll is supposed to indicate what you will be doing in the next 4 months.

so here, Iv made every possible combo to this poll available, including if you just plan to spend the money on upgrading your PC for gaming

yeah one that i should have made available is Wii + PC upgrade, as i suspect that will be a common one.

anywho, if you posted not listed, please post what you did.

How about the "I'm happy with my PC and won't be buying anything new".

Gears of War looks great, but not enough to justify buying a 360 just for one game.

Other than that all the games I'm interested in are available for the PC, so I'll stick with that.

I think if there were, say 5 or 6, games only on a particular console I'd pick one up.

If I could get my hands on a PS3 I would sell it and upgrade my computer, get an HDTV, and a bunch of other misc. stuff.

Until more games come out for PS3 or Wii I am sticking with my 360.

Got 360 on launch, picking up Wii tomorrow night, and DHL is supposed to deliver my 7900GT KO today! SLI lovin' again!

Nice long 5 day weekend next week to enjoy it all! GoW, DOAX2, PC gaming, and Wii!

i just checked out that wii finder or waht ever it is and i guess my general area will be getting about 2500 at various stores, i cannot believe that Toys R Us is getting about 85... damn!

Im trying to decide if i want to get one... I really wanted a PS3, i wont be getting one till about March im guessing.

The only reason i would get the Wii really is because of the virtual console, i would love to be able to play all my N64 and Genesis games that i dont have anymore. But with the really low N64 launch titles i dont know if ill be getting one soon... lol besides i dontk now how it will look on my HDTV, from the screen shots i have seen it looks worse than my PS2 with component cables.

There's no reason whatsoever to limit myself to one system. They all have different capabilities, and their own charms.

(In fairness I probably wont be getting a PS3 until I can pick up a used one and a bunch of used games... Sony are on my sh*t list right now).

Unlimited resources? Try "$1312.50", including tax, $1250 without. Spaced out over three years, that's less than $450 a year, assuming no price breaks. While I hesistate to call that "basically nothing", I don't think it's a bank buster for people with good jobs and a serious love of gaming.

I've already got an Xbox 360, I'm picking up a Wii on Sunday, and have a PS3 listed on eBay. I'll pick up a PS3 for personal use eventually, but not right now. I just have no interest in any of the games for it.
