Need SATA HDD for Inspiron E1505

I finally decided to buy a new HDD for my laptop. And now I can't find an hdd in the format I need. SATA. I need a hard drive at or above 120gb for under $100. The one on the dell site was $300.
Why such a different formats than their privious laptops? Please help
