Ok i have a corrupt registry and i cannot get into windows. All i wanna do is get my pictures off of here and then ill just partition and format the whole thing. I have a ide to usb cord and i tried to connect the hard disk to another computer and it connected and i can view the files but it will not let me open my document and settings folder. it says access denied. Is there a way to get around this? or is there a way to repair the windows installation without losing the pics that are in my document and settings folder?
