sry for the whiteness... I wanted to get this in quick before it all fails.

But anyway, for the past copule of days, i've been getting that error randomly. Then shortly after, everything else starts to die, but there is no error. After I click send or don't send, 30 secs later, my windows will all switch to classic view and back so XP a bit later.

Then sometime after all that, my network card desides to loose function. That's all I know so far.

Lately I've been hearing a wierd wine on occasion from the comp. I'm pretty sure it's coming from one of the HD's, but I'm not sure which one. Is this a sign that it's my C: failing?

I can't be the only one around here that's ever seen this error.

The last time that I saw this I installed the following patch... Here is a link to MS

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894391

Hope this helps.

And either research it yourself at eventid.net or post the Event, Source and description here. I have a membership so I can link you to sites off there that you would need a membership to follow.
