Well, my OS drive is acting weird so I purchased a segate 7200.10. Now that I want to install a fresh install of windows, I have seemed to have lost my windows xp key. It was on the cd sleeve that came up missing.. Before I go on, any way to get the key off this drive?
If not, This only leaves me with two options xp 64 or vista beta. I assume 64 would be better for me at the moment, but I wanted to ask for opinions...
please advise..

Yes there is a way to get your key, you will have to search the forums or google.

Awsome, I did know of any tools that could do this after SP2..
My friends, I have failed to use the search utility. I wasted a whole day (looking for the code) and 3 mins to search download and copy my code from the pc!
I am a happy man!

magic jelly bean program will nab all microsoft cd keys that are currently installed on your drive.
just google magic jelly bean.
once you get the cd key you can install your copy of xp on your new hd.
