Driver issues

I am working on a Gateway MX6441 right now. We had to reformat the computer but the driver that I download for the sound on Gateway's website doesn't work. I tried it for similar models and when I install the driver it just says that it failed to install. Is there any place else I could download the driver for this computer?

Going to have to be a little more specific than that. WHICH driver(s) (Version, Date)? What happens when you try to install? Anything?

I just finished retrofitting MCE 2005 on a 4 year old Gateway, so I've tinkered with the drivers a bit.


Edit: I can't imagine not 1 of these works. I'd start from the newest and work my way back.

I actually got it figured out now. I found something on another forum that led me to an emachines site which also had a driver pack for that computer. Installed that and it worked like a champ.
