Bad Audio

ok well lets see

right before i start to join the game in battlefield 2 my audio gets real cracklyon the onboard and a audiocard it does it some in every game but really bad in Battlefield 2

I reinstalled my motherboard drivers


on-board is realtek high definition audio
sound card is a Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM)

Ive posted about this many many times over the past 5 years here, turn down the volume to about 1/2 in windows and see if it helps.

ok i tried that with the on-board

should i use the old card or the on-board

my audio crackles when i load a bf2 map as well......however, it doesnt crackle in game.....does yours? i dont really care that it does that when i load because i think the music sucks anyway.........

yea but it does with the mic and i use the mic so that is what is pissing me off

the mich/line is most likely giving u feedback... try diabling all ure audio that is not needed aka line in and stuff and see i it helps, but u might have to play without mich, or upgrade to a nice x-fi or something worth it and use onboard audio as its easier to deal with and that creative is like from 1997
